COLMAR’s Centennial Celebration Brings the “Dude” to Life in Gstaad
For the 100th anniversary of the Italian winter and ski outfitter COLMAR, 7 Mountains was commissioned with the execution in Gstaad, Switzerland. The agency behind the project was Hypemaker from Hong Kong, with the incomparable producer Laura Thompson. Colmar’s creative idea was to bring a true mountain character to life — the so-called “Dude” — a figure as inseparable from snow and ice as the Yeti. The camera team, led by DOP Isaac Eastgate, took every opportunity to put the “Dude” through his icy paces.
Special Props for Alpine photo shoots
We look for animals, vintage trains, Rossignol Skis from the early Winter Olympics, snow mobiles and snow buses and much more. We worked with Czechoslovakian wolf dogs -watch out for the Alpha Animal-, with Huskies, horses, cows, sheep and Chihuahuas.

This campaign was shot in the Chilean Patagonia. 7 Mountains has an office in Buenos Aires from where we manage all shots in the Southern American Hemisphere. Come to Uruguay, Argentina and Chile!
